Join the Cathedral Choir!
Are you between the ages of 8 and 14? Would you like to let your voice reverberate under the vaults of the Antwerp Cathedral? Or join others in using your singing talents during liturgy and concerts? Then the new Cathedral Choir for boys and girls is for you!
In The Cathedral Choir, you will receive solid choral training. You can live out your passion for music and further develop your voice. Moreover, you will learn more and more about classical music and (choral) singing. The varied programme is filled with rehearsals, vocal coaching, private singing lessons and performances in the beautiful cathedral acoustics!
WEEKLY REHEARSALS
The Cathedral Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday afternoons, with reception between 1 pm and 5.30 pm. Should you wish to join, you can do so on site on any subsequent Wednesday during the work year or via this form.

MUSIC INTERNSHIPS
At least twice a year, during holiday periods, the Cathedral Choir organises free music internships for boys and girls aged 8 to 14. During these two- or three-day periods, we will delve in wonderful choral music that always ties in with the liturgical period of the year. It promises to be an engaging 'musical bath' tailored to the participating children! Knowledge of solfège and singing experience are not necessary for these internships, everything is taught and practised on the spot.
