Saint John Passion

On Holy Friday, 3 April 2026, at 8 pm, Johann Sebastian Bach's St John Passion will be performed in a liturgical context in the cathedral by the Helicon choir and the La Passione orchestra, conducted by Els Vrints. 

The soloists are Jolien De Gendt (soprano), Anastasiia Staroselska (mezzo-soprano), Denzil Delaere (tenor), Matthew Zadow (bass), Charles Dekeyser (Christ, bass) and Jan Van Elsacker (evangelist).

Free entrance via Handschoenmarkt. Doors open at 7.30 pm.
