Open Monument Day

The cathedral will also be part of Open Monument Day 2025 with the theme 'Holy Houses'! On Sunday, 14 September 2025, between 1 pm and 5 pm, there will be free admission not only for Antwerp residents, but for all residents of Flanders. (Please show proof at the box office though!)

During Open Monument Day at the cathedral, three free focus tours (in Dutch) will be offered, at 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm, with a tour to the small tower, the attic above the nave and inside the church itself. Only 20 people can join each tour. Registration compulsary, from 25 August via this link.
