Night of Churches

On Saturday, 8 August 2026, the fifteenth edition of the Night of the Churches will take place. Between 7 pm and 11 pm, a large number of Antwerp churches, including the cathedral, will keep their doors open for visitors. This year's theme is, ‘From village to district’. View the programme in Dutch.

Please note! Admission to the Night of Churches is free of charge, but will be regulated: every quarter of an hour a group up to 20 people is invited in via the entrance at Groenplaats 21 (i.e. not at the main entrance at the Handschoenmarkt!). Last admission at 10.30 pm.
