Vernissage 'In residence'

On Friday 23 October 2026 at 8 pm, the exhibition In residence will open in the cathedral, featuring a guided tour, speeches, music and refreshments. The exhibition features work by five versatile artists who, alongside their artistic practice, work in the cathedral. Discover how much talent we have ‘in-house’!

‘In residence’ showcases the artistic work of artists who have a special connection with the cathedral. They work here and feel a bond with the building, its history and significance and its many visitors. Their works are invitations to pause for a moment, listen and experience.

Entry to the opening is free, but you must register via this form by Wednesday 21 October 2026. (If you’re unable to do so, please email info@dekathedraal.be.)

The exhibition runs from 24 October 2026 to 26 November 2026 during the cathedral’s opening hours.
